In our last blog post, we started talking about a few of the national parks that we suggest planning a trip to this year We were able to cover some of our favorites, but there are still so many that we absolutely think need to be on your list of must-see national parks throughout the United States. Great Smoky Mountains National Park

As a resident of Colorado, you may be wondering why you would plan a trip to go and visit a mountain park known for mountains when we have amazing ones right here. Denali National Park and Preserve

Alaska has incredible views and places to explore, but if you’re going to make the trip to Alaska, you absolutely need to take some time to go and visit this particular piece of land. 

With over 6 million acres of land, the Denali National Park and Preserve is where so many of Alaska’s wildlife call home. From grizzly bears and wolves to caribou and moose, you can guarantee that there are going to be incredible animals that you come across while you’re emerging yourself in this beautiful place. 

Within this park, there is one road that runs for 92 miles, making it easy for you and your loved ones to get out and explore the endless views. Whether you’re someone passionate about mountain climbing or you’ve always wanted to try dog sledding, Alaska makes it possible for you to try all of these things and more in one incredible place.

Everglades National Park

Florida is a popular place to visit. The warm weather and sandy beaches offer plenty of opportunities when traveling, but if you’re going to be making plans to travel to Florida, then you absolutely need to make sure that you take some time to visit the Everglades National Park. 

With over 1.5 million acres of wetland, this national park offers so much to see and explore. One of the primary reasons that people choose to visit this national park is because of the gorgeous scenery that the coastal mangroves and brushy trees create. Aside from that, the opportunity to see some incredible wildlife makes it a must-see place to go when in Florida. Carlsbad Caverns National Park

If you’re looking to go somewhere where temperatures are definitely going to be high, you can’t go wrong with Carlsbad Caverns National Park in New Mexico. This region is known for reaching highs of 90 during the summer but offers plenty of opportunities to cool down. The unique space in New Mexico offers countless caves for guests to explore. With roughly 100 caves in the area, there is definitely plenty for you and your loved ones to see when you schedule a visit. 

Aside from the caves, Carlsbad Caverns National Park is known for Rattlesnake Springs, gorgeous wetlands, desert wildlife and the beautiful views that can always be found when visiting.
